Assistant Vice President / Manager - Investment Department

Responsibilities:

 

• Support portfolio management activities including credit rating monitoring, daily Mark-to-Market reports, investment planning, and hedging documentation
• Assist in repo trade execution, monitoring, and providing timely market updates
• Support private equity fund monitoring, operational reporting, and daily follow-ups
• Manage CD (certificate of deposit) issuance processes and liaise with dealers and external partners
• Record and document bond and repo trade transactions and post-trade processes
• Prepare regular MIS and ALCO presentations, hedge reports, and maintain investment databases
• Assist in implementing and reporting on green bonds and sustainable financing projects
• Complete ESG assessments and provide input on credit facility applications
• Collect financial statements, prepare portfolio P&L, and support credit reviews
• Provide support in ad hoc projects, UAT testing, and system implementation when required
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors, regulators, and head office counterparts
• Perform general administrative duties including filing, documentation, and meeting coordination
• Provide backup support for other team members and departmental functions

Requirements:

• University graduate or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
• 4 to 8 years of relevant investment portfolio or banking booking management experience
• Strong understanding of banking policies, investment products, and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in English and
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with systems such as Bloomberg, Summit, and Markit
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization tools is an advantage
