Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Business Secured Loan Lending portfolio.
- Identify market opportunities and drive innovation in lending products and services.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Lead efforts to acquire and retain high-quality business clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
Product Development and Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the development of new secured lending products tailored to the needs of Hong Kong businesses.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the lending portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and risk appetite.
Risk Management:
- Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate credit, operational, and compliance risks.
- Work closely with the risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of lending professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Prepare and present reports on portfolio performance, risk metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in lending, with a strong focus on secured loans and business lending.
- Proven track record of leading lending teams and driving business growth in a dynamic financial environment or banking industry.
- Experience in the Hong Kong market is highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of secured lending products, credit assessment, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s regulatory environment and lending regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
