Branch - Branch Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the branch's daily operations and financial activities are in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures
• Provide coaching to new joined Tellers from operation perspective
• Assist manager in handling customer’s complaints
• Provide excellent service in handling customer issues and enquiries in a timely, problem-free and responsive manner
• Perform the Customer Due Diligence during the account opening process and ensure compliance on the on-going requirements of “Know Your Customer”
• Comply with all applicable policies, rules, guidelines and regulations prescribed by regulators as well as by the Bank, and ensure all branch staff strictly comply with the same

Requirements

• Level 2/Attained/Grade E or above of 5 subjects in HKCEE/HKDSE including Chinese, English and Mathematics;
• Pass the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Exam (Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking sector as teller at branch
• Sound knowledge in branch operations, products and services
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Good understanding of relevant branch policies, procedures, practices, rules and compliance requirements;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
