Assistant Kitchen Manager
The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the daily operations of a restaurant kitchen in Hong Kong. Working closely with the Kitchen Manager to maintain great food quality, assist in hiring and training staff and ensuring efficient kitchen workflow and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations to meet with Company Standard
- Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and taste to meet customer expectations
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene in accordance with regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and control food costs to ensure the kitchen can achieve the budget set by the Company (in terms of food cost, staff cost and inventory standard etc.)
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising the kitchen team
Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience in kitchen management, preferable working in a high-volume Western Cuisine / All Day Dining Restaurant before
- Good leadership, management and communication skills
- Good at spoken and written English and Cantonese/Chinese
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Eager to learning the cuisine and meeting required standard
- Attention to detail and quality standards
