Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager (12 – 18 months renewable contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare the hotel/facility upgrade and fitting-out project proposals and requirements, tenders, budgets and schedules, etc.;  
  • Review and provide feedback on the overall design, materials, project timeline, costs, as well as the implementation manner and logistics;
  • Monitor the progress of projects and expenses according to the master programme and budget as well as the work quality of consultants and contractors; Give advice and input on the quantitative and qualitative aspects of project deliverables.
  • Closely liaise with consultants and contractors in facilitating a timely and quality delivery of their output including documentations (drawings, specifications, approvals, and tenders, etc.) to fulfil the necessary regulatory compliance and maintain a proper filing record;  
  • Coordinate and attend technical and progress meetings; strengthen collaboration with consultants and contractors to ensure good and proper coordination be built among parties to achieve all project deliverables;
  • Monitor and ensure the compliance of safety and statutory requirements;
  • Review site inspection reports and monitor on-site work progress and ensure the projects be completed in a quality and timely manner; and
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Building Studies, Architecture, or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant experience in large-scale facility upgrade, fitting-out, or building projects.
  • Conversant with local regulations, procedures, project planning and budget, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Well organized, attentive to details, work independently with strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese 
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD, etc.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Project Manager position.
