Job Purpose:
In charge of Business Banking’s overall Sales & Services management, and also responsible for all aspects concerning the development, productivity, cost efficiency including human resource, system technology and integration with other distribution channels.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with the General Manager to develop and execute channels strategic plans for the Business Banking Department.
- Drive, motivate and direct the team towards the corporate mission with high-quality delivery.
- Lead the team of business officer/ manager to deliver SME account acquisition, opening, management and various SME products e.g. FX, loan, trade services
- Groom the SME RM pool to strengthen the relationship with the high value group of customer and explore the new business opportunity from it.
- Device strategies on formation of departmental resources through comprehensive recruitment process, people/career development & attractive remuneration system to attract market talent to strengthen capabilities
- Design and implement performance assessment frameworks, ensuring all KPIs are met and progress is tracked effectively.
- Analyze business performance data, generate actionable insights, and support sales teams in customer acquisition and sales strategy optimization.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and strategic assignments as required.
- Build and strengthen business relationship with SME associations or intermediary companies to develop new customer relationships and business opportunity
- Participate in & contribute to on-going operations/technology enhancements and product development and ensure in line with corporate strategy
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, meeting materials, and internal communications.
- Responsible to achieve the full year revenue profit & cost control KPI.
Incumbent Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of business banking operations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proactive, results-driven, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
