RESPONSIBILITIES
Sound knowledge of the China market and a good understanding of the opportunities opening up for corporate clients, especially the Greater Bay Area initiatives and around New Economy
Position the Bank as a thought leader through strategic partnerships with media, key sponsorship platforms and business chambers etc
Strengthen and amplify the GBA Index through media, social and client engagement platforms
Familiar with the digital marketing landscape in China (experience in managing and driving utilisation of WeChat etc)
Work with key business stakeholders from CIB to strategise, develop and execute marketing initiatives that helps to stand out the Bank’s position in the marketplace and drive marketing activities accordingly to fulfil business needs
Event marketing: organising seminars, conferences, client hospitality events approved in the marketing plan to the highest levels of professionalism
Work with external marketing agencies to deliver marketing programmes in creative ways, and also ensure it aligns with the brand promise.
Branding: advising and safeguarding the branding and educate business stakeholders to follow branding guidelines
Manage the marketing finance reporting, procurement arrangement, liaison for operational matters, etc.
Qualification
Preferably to have around 10 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services industry with a track record of implementing successfully marketing initiatives
Preferably to have experience of Business to Business marketing or professional services marketing
Languages: English & Mandarin – fluent; Cantonese – preferred but not necessary
