The Luxury and Leisure Senior Sales Manager is responsible for growing Luxury Consortia, Travel Agencies, Wholesaler, Business Travel, Tour accounts, and Transient generating new business to maximize transient revenue, profits and market share. The manager will be focused on creating and sustaining relationships with key travel partners including but not limited to domestic and international luxury travel agent community. The manager will play a key role in action plan development and implementation and will be responsible of all Leisure & Luxury travel platforms, providing visibility and exposure for the hotel.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Management of the relationship with preferred partners including penetration of account to uncover travel influencers, management of the agency, entertainment, and travel agency/manager relationships.
- Education of distribution partners through site tours of property, call center presentations, webinars and sales calls
- Ensure professional and courteous service to all Consortia & luxury accounts
- Collaborate with support departments to ensure customer service and strategy are being executed effectively
- Actively participates in business review and competitor’s analysis
- Manage partners, distribution, inventory, blocks, and rates
- Implementation and execution of overall Wholesale & Luxury Sales Strategy
- Negotiate marketing opportunities with partners to create co-op plans
- Develop and grow relationships with key customers / Travel Agencies
- Property content management and continual education of distribution partners
- Review and disseminate monthly tracking of accounts
- Responsible to communicate new account data to reservations and GDS
- Responsible for managing the RFP process for all consortia accounts
- Create and develop ongoing promotions for key accounts.
- Travel, entertain and attend trade shows to increase visibility in the market and drive revenues
- Create and maintain relationships with all luxury and leisure business segment partners
- Analyze all industry trends, key competitors and customer behavior to alter strategies based on changes and consumer behaviors
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be a quick learner and adapt to a dynamic, fluid working environment
- Must be extremely detailed oriented and have a high degree of problem-solving abilities
- 2 years previous experience in luxury market, hotel sales, event mamangement, or hotel operations.
- Strong communication skills, utilizing English, Cantonese and Mandarin both oral and written form
- Strong Presentation skills
- Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Established relationships with account decision makers preferred.
- Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Willing to work on developing and managing key relationships across the organization and within clientele
- Technical comprehension of applications pertaining to Sales, distribution, and revenue systems.
- Experience developing and implementing effective plans to maximize rooms revenue.
