Perform relief duties in branches and assist in overseeing counter services and back office administration to ensure proper service delivery and processing
Check and verify various transactions, clearing and account matters
Ensure accurate balances of the counters and the procedural propriety of all transactions
Perform administrative duties and act as the secondary custodian of international money orders, traveller checks, gift checks, safe deposit box and other transactional products, including ATM card, credit card, deposits, gold bar/coin, remittance, etc.
Monitor service performance of counter service staff and provide appropriate assistance whenever required
Cultivate long-term relationship with customers and refer potential business opportunities to branch sales
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Diploma holder or above
Minimum 5 years of branch operations experience in the banking industry preferably with supervisory experience
Passes in HKSI & IIQE licensing examinations preferred, but not a must
Sound knowledge of branch operations, with good compliance and control sense
Strong people and communication skills
Detail-oriented, and able to work independently and under pressure
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Proficient in MS Office applications including Chinese word processing
