To lead and expand the family office and trust business, with a focus on ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. This role will drive cross-border wealth solutions, trust structuring, and family governance advisory, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and requirements set by respective regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute the business strategy for family office and trust services
- Identify and onboard new UHNW client relationships
- Expand the Group's market share in wealth structuring solutions
Client Solutions
- Design and implement customized trust structures for asset protection and succession planning
- Develop family governance frameworks for multi-generational wealth transfer
- Collaborate with external family offices, trust companies, law firms, and tax advisors to deliver Trust & Family Office solutions and assist in executing due diligence
- Serve as the primary advisor for top-tier clients in client advisory & retention
Team Leadership
- Recruit and develop a high-performing team of trust specialists and advisors
- Establish training programs to build internal capabilities
- Foster collaboration across private banking, legal and compliance teams
Requirements
- Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated success in the development and administration of family office/trust business
- Proven track record in Greater China UHNW client acquisition is preferable
- Deep expertise in the Greater China wealth management landscape is preferable
- Strong network of UHNW relationships in the region
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management (e.g., regulators, family offices)
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Travel to Macau / China is required
