Deputy Manager, Technical Services (Portfolio Management)

Responsibilities:

  • Plans for preventive and corrective technical services with checklists and procedures to maintain the standards of facilities.
  • To monitor the performance contractors and suppliers to ensure workmanship, schedule and budget in accordance with the pre-determined requirements.
  • Ensuring the procurement process comply with Company Policies and Statutory Requirement.
  • Reviews regularly and revises the service standard, maintenance schedule, procedures, work records, checklists and all other deliverables returned, in order to ensure the effective system(s) operation with minimum cost and in compliance with the statutory requirements.
  • Prepares proposals and implement upgrading works for both building fabric and major facilities to uplift the operation standards in a sustainable manner.
  • Ensures the health and safety of the Team by eliminating potential risks during the course of planning, repairing, maintaining and conducting improvement works and selects the appropriate materials and methods.
  • Provide support, guidance and assistance to the Team regarding any problems encountered; leads them with efficient and effective utilization of resources.
  • Engages with sustainability initiatives and maintains various systems and certifications in commercial buildings. Works closely with the other function teams to ensure buildings meet international standards and remain competitive in the property management market.
  • Manages the certification process, including site preparation, facilitating on-site audits, and maintaining certifications through regular reports and reviews. 

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder in related disciplines, preferably in Building Studies, Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management
  • Over 7 Year(s) in property or facilities management field with at least 3 Year(s) at managerial level
  • With solid experience in facilities/ properties management 
  • Experience in ISO certification, audits and international standards / certifications applications operations would be an advantage
  • Business expertise, problem-solving, nature & area of impact, interaction / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Office
