We are looking for a Housekeeping Trainer at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
As a Housekeeping Trainer, we rely on you to:
- Be responsible for providing leadership and maintaining the daily operation of all Housekeeping functions according to the standards established by the Hotel
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas and ensure quality standards are well-maintained
- Identify training needs and develop training initiatives to enhance service quality
- Manage the administrative duties including P&L, roster planning, and stock inventory control
- Prepare related reports, verify and update room status so as to prioritize room cleaning for the team
- Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisors
We are looking for someone who has:
- Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Housekeeping Department, preferably in a similar capacity and international hotel experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge in Housekeeping operations and equipment
- Knowledge in education methods
- Strong leadership skills & excellent interpersonal skills
- Quality-driven, customer and business results oriented
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- Proficient in PC application
- Excellent command of spoken & written English and Cantonese; proficiency in spoken Mandarin is desired
