The Job
- In charge of all wine services in restaurant
- Organize wine tasting, wine pairing promotion and services enhancement events
- Monitor wine costs and inventory level
- Develop and update wine list
- Conduct professional wine knowledge training to staff
- Understand guests’ needs and deliver excellent service
- Assist in Bar and Restaurant duties as assigned
The person
- WSET Level 2 or above
- Strong wine knowledge and stock control and ability to develop and implement wine activities
- Minimum 2 years’ wine services experience in fine dining restaurant or hotel industry
- Adaptable to changing needs and demands, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, guest services and training skills
- Strong team player
- Floor service experience in high end / fine dining restaurant or hotel industry
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adopt to company culture
