In this role, you will be one of the key members to support fund administration for the ILAS product and other investment accounting duties.
What the role is ?
- Responsible for managing subordinates in the daily operation of the Investment-Linked Assurance Scheme and mirror funds, including but not limited to daily fund price calculations, fund subscriptions/redemptions, fund switching, cash management, setting up new funds, corporate actions, and dividend reinvestment, etc.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the policy administration system
- Assist in system checks and advise IT on fixing system entry errors when they occur
- Handle month-end closing for ILAS and investment accounting, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors for the ILAS annual audit
- Support the Finance department on ad hoc projects related to investment accounting
- Prepare various investment accounting reports for internal and external parties
- Support UAT for investment accounting system enhancement
What are we looking for?
- More than 8 years of experience in ILAS within the insurance industry
- Sound knowledge of reporting for insurance investment accounting, including deposit accounting and IFRS9
- Experience in CIES financial reporting is a plus
- Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel
- Proficient in eBao and Sun Accounting systems
- Knowledge of Calastone and Clearwater is definitely an advantage
