(Senior) Director, Credit Management, Private Banking

Responsibilities:

• Manage designated Relationship Manager team, to answer credit enquiries from solution provider viewpoint, assess and approve credit application, but still have robust risk awareness to ensure all compliance and risk rules as per regulatory and Bank requirements have been complied.
• Assist Credit Head to manage credit application workflow and logistics, to ensure timely completion of credit renewal in acceptable quality governed by 2nd line Risk Divisions.
• Can manage to deal with different stakeholders, especially 2nd line Risk Divisions, Legal & Compliance and Audit teams.
• Lead credit manual maintenance and credit related product due diligence, and selective credit initiatives. 
• Be subject matter expertise for Insurance Financing to deal with insurance brokers, for product eligibility approval as collateral.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experiences in Banking, with at least 5 years in private bank credit underwriting, driving credit initiatives and/or credit manual maintenance. Past experience in PRC Bank is preferable. 
• Good analytical and credit assessment skills, with sound knowledge in portfolio lending and insurance financing, and in-depth knowledge to credit application end-to-end logistic.  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
