Manages sales efforts for the hotel including local corporate and social catering
Responds to incoming event opportunities for the hotel
Maximizes revenue by up-selling packages and creative food and beverage
Manages event sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides forecasting reports
Interacts effectively with sales, kitchen, vendors, competitors, local community, associations and other hotel departments in order to ensure guest satisfaction
Executes and supports the hotel’s Customer Service Standards
Ensures all event’s setup, equipment and venue are presentable
Event administrative responsibilities (event order, nametags, table seating cards, menu cards and etc.)
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar position
Self-motivated with pleasant personality
Strong organizational and communication skill
Flexible and responsible, willing to follow up events in evenings, weekends and public holidays
Excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
