Assistant Event Sales Manager/ Event Sales Executive

Hotel Stage

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages sales efforts for the hotel including local corporate and social catering
  • Responds to incoming event opportunities for the hotel
  • Maximizes revenue by up-selling packages and creative food and beverage
  • Manages event sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides forecasting reports
  • Interacts effectively with sales, kitchen, vendors, competitors, local community,  associations and other hotel departments in order to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Executes and supports the hotel’s Customer Service Standards
  • Ensures all event’s setup, equipment and venue are presentable
  • Event administrative responsibilities (event order, nametags, table seating cards, menu cards and etc.)
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar position
  • Self-motivated with pleasant personality
  • Strong organizational and communication skill
  • Flexible and responsible, willing to follow up events in evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
