Job Responsibilities:
- Create a weekly menu plan that includes local and international dishes, while adhering to the food cost budget.
- Train and supervise a team of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Fill in for the Head Chef when needed, leading the kitchen team and managing menu planning and execution.
- Full understanding of menu items, recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods, presentation standard
- Familiar with all kitchen equipment and operate properly in accordance with the safety guidelines
- Make sure food quality and hygiene are maintained
Job Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as Junior Sous Chef & Chef de Partie with highest levels of services is preferred.
- Culinary experience in hotels or fine dining restaurants is preferred
- Knowledge about food portion control and food cost
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ability to follow instructions from Operations Team and meet the Company standards and striving for perfection
- Have passion for cuisine, team player, cheerful and good communication skills
- Good command of English and Cantonese
