We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
As a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen, we rely on you to:
- Prepare food in the Pastry Kitchen according to Chef's specification, requirements and recipes
- Be responsible for the display of food items and show pieces
- Conduct food checks and review event orders
- Supervise the work of junior personnel remaining fair and impartial at all times
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
We are looking for someone who has:
- Form 5 or Certificate of Pastry production of Vocational Training Council
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in related professions; at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory position
- Strong understanding of daily operation, cost control, procurement system and HACCP
- Good command of spoken English and Cantonese
