We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen, we rely on you to:

  • Prepare food in the Pastry Kitchen according to Chef's specification, requirements and recipes
  • Be responsible for the display of food items and show pieces
  • Conduct food checks and review event orders
  • Supervise the work of junior personnel remaining fair and impartial at all times
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Form 5 or Certificate of Pastry production of Vocational Training Council
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in related professions; at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory position
  • Strong understanding of daily operation, cost control, procurement system and HACCP
  • Good command of spoken English and Cantonese
