Responsibilities
Develop and create innovative Southeast Asian dishes, specifically Thai, Malaysian or Indonesian cuisine, while ensuring adherence to professional cooking practices.
Plan and execute menu offerings, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
Oversee the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to food safety standards.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques, and continuously enhance your culinary skills.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the similar position, with a strong background in Southeast Asian cuisine.
Specialization in Thai, Malaysian or Indonesian cuisine is preferred.
Knowledge of Halal cooking practices and experience in preparing Halal dishes would be an advantage.
Holder of Hygiene Certificate or equivalent Certificate.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
Creativity and passion for creating unique and flavorful dishes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
