AVP - Management Reporting, Planning & Analysis

What you will be doing:

Establish strong working relationship as the primary contact point for businesses on financial performance related matters.
Work closely with business segments to review financial performance, set strategic targets in the annual operating plan, and follow up progress with forecast and projection.
Drive data-driven analysis to track and explain segment performance, e.g. identify and explain the business drivers, analyse trends, evaluate key performance indicators, etc.
Address business queries on Fund Transfer Pricing, Cost Allocation, Joint Income and other financial related matters.
Roll out dashboard reporting tools to business units to drive self-help analysis.
Ensure proper revenue recognition, expense booking, income sharing, etc for accurate segment performance.
Collaborate with other teams in Finance and other departments locally, as well as Group Finance teams.
Support new projects and initiatives; Improve efficiency through streamlining of workflow and building greater degree of automation.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years’ experience in management reporting and business performance analysis in reputable financial institutions, preferably with regional exposure.
Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, and management reporting concepts such as internal fund transfer pricing and cost allocation
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability as a strong business partner
Resourceful in providing analytical tools and relevant solutions to address business requests
Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and deep dive analysis;
Proficiency in MS Powerpoint or other dashboard tools for management presentation;
Good knowledge of visual analytics capability e.g. PowerBI or similar tools would be an advantage.
