JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Data Analytics, Consumer Financial Services (CFS), is a critical role that oversees the development and implementation of data-driven strategies.
This individual will lead a dynamic team in leveraging insights to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize product offerings, and improve decision-making for CFS through multiple lenses.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Act as the subject matter expert for end-to-end Business Intelligence journey includes but not limited to data modeling, data governance, database management, data presentation and visualization.
- Liaise with Group Data Office to drive and implement a new dashboard across CFS and enhance sales penetration and customer experience through data-driven segmentation and propositions.
- Support ad hoc analytics needs of senior management and other teams within the department, interpreting data in accordance with sound statistical valid.
- Devise and roll out key performance measures for omni channels and products. Support the calculation of sales incentive scheme rewarding the Bank while being able to motivate frontline staff.
- Evaluate business opportunities and review market trends. Proactively update market intelligence and competitor landscape/move, and propose new ideas to segment and product teams for enhancement in propositions, product offerings and marketing programs, for achievement in the Bank's target and directives
- Support management in producing management updates to local and Group management. Prepare presentation decks for management and Group on products, customers & profits level.

- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
- Employ, engage and retain high quality (skill and experienced) people to deliver its obligations.
- Partner with People Team and create robust development program for the Data Analytics team in line with the evolving digital banking and match landscapes.
- Create a motivational and challenging environment for staff which is conducive to creativity and performance with customer centricity in mind
Risk and Governance
- Comply with all Group and regulatory compliance guidelines, to ensure satisfactory audit findings
- Oversee data quality initiatives to maintain high standards for data accuracy and reliability.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Degree or Master holder in Finance, Economics, Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 20 years of experience in finance management, business analytics in retail banking. At least 10 years of proven track record in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing various types of business projects with knowledge in system practices and data analysis.
- Commercially driven with a strong understanding of consumer financial business
- Dynamic and strong communicator with the ability to influence cross functional business units.
- Strong growth mindset, proactive, results-oriented, able to manage in a highly matrixed organization and ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
