Assistant Vice President, Wealth Specialist (Insurance)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with branch sales management and sales staff on their wealth business planning to achieve business goals.
• Conduct pre-case study and engage in joint servicing / sales calls proactively with sales staff to serve the financial needs of customers
• Keep abreast of market changes and provide timely market & product update to both sales staff and customer.
• Provide technical and skill coaching to sales staff within designated area/branch to uplift the professionalism and selling skills of sales staff
• Review and feedback on the enhancement of insurance selling procedures / guidelines / systems accordance to regulatory requirement.
• Work in collaboration with QA Team and Area Managers to support and contribute to sales & service quality improvement.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant selling experience in banking, with solid exposure in selling retail insurance products
• Possess recognized insurance qualification (e.g. IIQE)
• Relevant Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) qualification is preferable
• Good knowledge of insurance products in banking industry
• Proven track record in marketing and selling insurance products
• Familiar with regulatory requirements for carrying out insurance business
• Strong service and sales orientation, self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
