Commercial Administration Specialist (Events Coordinator)

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Handles incoming telephone and email enquiries
  • Prepares correspondence such as proposals, contracts, emails, letters, and event orders
  • Support all sales related analysis and ad-hoc projects
  • Distributes sales leads
  • Provides operational support to Sales Team in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Accurate and timely reporting of activities and related insights
  • Accurate and timely processing ad hoc report request
  • Generates and compile daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports, account production, business performance and analytical reports as requested by Sales Team
  • Prepare all administration documents and create ad-hoc reports to evaluate immediate and long-term business needs as required by the Hotel Sales Team

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Diploma in Hotel Management, Marketing or related field is required. 
  • A minimum of one year experience in hospitality field is required.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in PC skills (especially data management tools, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; with high proficiency in Excel like Pivot, VLOOKUP, nested formulas, etc.)
  • Ability to handle clients’ inquiry and communicate to appropriate departments independently
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure
