What the role is?

Coach and direct the team to define and deliver the program of work in professional and effective manner;

Lead the end-to-end product development process of initiatives in right priority, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs;

Develop project plan, manage project timelines, resources, budgets and vendors, conduct baseline review, for the delivery of high-quality products on schedule;

Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic objectives and customer feedback;

Optimize system development practice by centralizing resources with high-demand and unique knowledge or skills;
-
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, manage corrective actions and change requests throughout the project lifecycle;
-
Strengthen relationship management to the Management and key stakeholders through effective communication on product vision, timely progress updates with an aim at ensuring alignment and buy-in across the organization; and

Collaborate control functions to ensure the full compliance with rules and regulations.
What we look for?

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines;
-
At least 10 years of experience in IT project management; some of which gained at insurance or finance sectors is preferred;
-
Experienced in Life Insurance Products is a must;
-
Solid experience in Life Insurance proposal, illustration, product features implementation in Core Life Administration system is a must;

Good track record in vendor management for successful project delivery;
-
Experienced in Product Engine platform for product setup, managing digital product, Life Insurance Core system, and technology upgrades is preferred;

Industry certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile Certified or Scrum Master is a plus;
-
With proven ability to analyse and communicate governance, compliance trends, and program requirements;
-
Adaptable to ambiguity and change, with a solid understanding of IT architecture and integration;
-
Team player, good communication, facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills;
-
Strong written and verbal communication abilities with critical thinking skills;
-
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua.
