AVP/Mgr, Credit Verification (Corporate Banking, Commercial or Retail Banking)

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with related parties for preparation and execution of loan and security documentation relating to syndicated and commercial loans
• Ensure requisite loan documents and the necessary conditions precedent are duly completed to meet with the Bank's standard
• Prepare and review the facility letters, loan documents and relevant correspondences such as instruction letter to solicitor firms for consumer products;
• Perform loan documentation review prior to the loan drawdown/ line validation for auto-loan/consumer products;
• Input and perform checking of customer data after inputting into MCRA terminal;
• Process the regular MIS reports, monthly report and Head Office reports;
• Handle various ad hoc projects like MCRA project;
• Handle and monitor the disposal process on documents/reports after retention period;
• Review of relevant Policy and Procedure Manuals;
• Regular or ad-hoc review of Access Rights, System Securities, and Business Continuity Plans;
• Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Law, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of loan administration, documentation and credit execution experience
• High proficiency in Windows applications and other computer software
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and willing to work overtime
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
