Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Feeder Supervisor with a primary focus on promoting safety driving habits and operations efficiency within our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the team of feeder drivers, ensuring compliance with safety and aviation security regulations, and implementing training programs to enhance safe driving practices. Also it is crucial to identify any risks or gaps that may impose a safety threat to our staff.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering Safety Culture:
- Supervise feeder drivers and monitor their adherence to UPS safe work method and defensive driving method
- Develop and implement safety training program related to driving practices
- Take ownership and conduct regular safety audits and inspections of vehicles and facility equipment to identify the risks that may impose safety threat
- Investigate and report any accidents or safety violations, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions as per UPS standard reporting procedure
- Coach and creates opportunities to build capacity for your team, as a talent builder, provides and solicits actionable and honest feedback
Driving Continuity Growth:
- Safeguard aviation security compliance by creates and clearly communicates relevant, practical solutions and process for the team
- Collaborating with other functions to build networks and productive relationship across UPS and with key stakeholders, and ensure we meet the SLA for customer in supporting business continuity with Customer First mindset
- Be constructive dissatisfied on the workflow and challenge status quo, able to identify the gap and improve the operations efficiency by envisions new approaches to create value for UPS and customer
- Take ownership for setting and achieving ambitious goal, in the value of supporting business growth, operations excellence or cost efficiency
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, or proven at least 5 years' experience in a transportation or aviation logistics environment
- Holder of Hong Kong Driving License Class 1 and Class 2, commercial driving license is a plus
- Collaborator who put team success ahead of self-interest, approachable to build productive relationship cross-functional
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively train and motivate team members
- Good analytical skill to analyze data and identify trends with critical eyes to improve team performance
- Good presentation skill with proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI & VBA knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and shifts as needed, such as weekends and public holidays
