Business Development Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Verify incoming technical data (Gerber files) from customers (with dedicated tools (CAM350, Insight)
• Perform analysis of technical parameters and identify special requirements
• Highlight any deviation from standard capabilities, identify problems and provide technical proposals for solutions
• Send RFQ data package to suppliers for quotation enquiry and benchmarking and save the prices from suppliers in AP+
• Negotiate competitive prices with suppliers
• Prepare quotations to customers and/or Sales team based on supplier best price, adding mark up and transportation (where requested) and meeting customer’s target prices
• Follow-up status of performed RFQs
• Analyse and record customer preferences in RFQ process and apply findings for more effective solutions
• Seek relevant information from Sales on strategic and high-runner projects to develop competitive quotations in terms of pricing, delivery and quality
• Closely liaise and cooperate with suppliers for cost engineering

Job Requirements:

• University degree in technical or PCB related field
• Minimum 6 years PCB engineering costing work experience in PCB factory or trading company
• Excellent skills in Gerber file analysis
• Strong knowledge of different PCB technologies and their manufacturing processes
• Able to calculate PCB prices and freight costs according to given parameters and guidelines
• Strong customer service orientation delivered in a cost efficient way
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with people at all levels in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
