Core Work Location: One of the areas in Kowloon Region
Reports to: Regional Facilities Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance programs within retail stores of the area by coordinating and supporting the technical team who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, ventilation and other building systems.
- Manage, guide and develop the team of technicians, providing them with technical assistance and operational guidance to ensure their performance & services meets required standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, other City Team Members and contractors.
- Ensure that the team comply with company policies and procedures, legislation, regulations, standards and industry codes, and that audits are undertaken to check compliance.
- Build strong relationships with all store brand managers to ensure stores are maintained safely and operationally efficient.
- Identify and address compliance incidents and complete comprehensive reporting within required timeframes.
- Work and interact with the compliance team to oversee the work undertaken by technicians to ensure it is compliant and meets safety standards.
- Maintain availability 24/7 to provide telephone support for works and attend critical situations as required.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or above in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Studies, Building Surveying, or a related field - Preferable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably with experience in maintenance within a supermarket or retail environment or construction.
- Basic understanding in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket and retail environment - Preferable.
