Location: Premier International-Grade Facility in the Kowloon Area
Key Responsibilities:
- HSE policy and procedure development, implementation and improvement
- Assist HSE Officer in implementing HSE plans, programs, arrangements and measures,
- Assist in developing consultation and communication plans to support implementation of projects and programs.
- Assist in developing consultation and communication plans to support implementation of projects and programs.
- Maintain the contractor safety management system.
- HSE processes, programs, and reporting
- Maintain effective HSE risk management processes including reviewing and updating HSE related registers such as - hazard registers, risk assessment registers, chemical registers.
- Respond to HSE issues and assess and control hazards relevant to facilities management.
- Respond to significant safety issues/hazards raised by Managers and/or technicians.
- Assess hazards/issues, identify control options/recommendations and monitor close out of control actions.
- Attend operations meetings.
- Review and update risk assessments.
- Undertake HSE inspections and system audits (including contractor spot audits and worksite safety visits), monitor outcomes of audits and follow up to ensure actions are undertaken in a timely manner.
- Deliver HSE training programs/toolboxes.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE related IT systems.
- Develop, implement and maintain contractor safety management system.
- HSE hazard, incident and injury management processes
- Undertake significant hazard/incident investigations as required utilising appropriate root cause analysis techniques.
- Review outcomes and completeness of minor hazard/incident reports and investigations
- Assist and advise managers in the application of hazard and incident management processes.
- Coordinate injury and claims management processes and manage the return to work of injured Team Members
- Health and Safety consultation and advice
- Support the HSE consultation framework.
- Maintain effective internal/external stakeholder and client relationships.
- Provide recommendations to HSE Manager based on findings within the field.
- Assist with the resolution of HSE issues and promote consultation and participation from all levels within the company.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Diploma or above in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
- Possess a valid First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
- Experience:
- 3 years or above of related experience in construction or engineering works
- Related working experience in facilities management is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification.
- Related experience in conducting on site safety training, inspection and manage safety documents.
Skills:
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
