Investments and Wealth Solutions - Insurance Platform and Solutions

Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Wealth and Personal Banking customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment.  Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.

We are seeking a high caliber to join us as Senior Manager, Insurance Platform and Solutions (Insurance Proposition and Sales Journey).

Principle responsibilities

  • Manage the insurance proposition development, delivery and sales journey development are delivered to meet the insurance needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with HSIC, external partners distribution channels, 2LoD and other stakeholders on the management of sales journey, process and controls to ensure robust risk controls when distributing the products in accordance to regulatory and internal requirements and policies
  • Manage insurance distribution initiatives such as process streamlining and system enhancements to improve frontline and client experience
  • Oversee and monitor the effectiveness of insurance product distribution training and frontline communications
Requirements
  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in banking / insurance industry, with 3 years or above business or product management role at senior level preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in product and sales journey management, implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices
  • Result-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrating capability in leading team to inspire and engage people at all levels and effect change to regulatory update
  • Language proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
