The Role
Reporting to Manager, Terminal Planning, the job holder's major responsibilities are to:
- Participate in terminal development and upgrade project in Hong Kong and / or Mainland
- Perform analysis and define the medium to long term terminal upgrade, improvement and expansion plan
- Work with internal and external parties including consultants, government authorities and other stakeholders in differnet projects
- Perform statistical analysis / modelling, cost-benefit analysis and workflow analysis for preparing project proposals for equipment and infrastructure projects
The Person
The ideal candidate should have / be:
- Degree in Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Management, Logistics Management, or related discipline
- At least 2 years relevant experience in project planning, exection or related duties
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis is preferred
- Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good team player, proactive, able to work independently
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Terminal Planning Trainee
