Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Card Production Center and Card Refund Team to provide high quality standard of card production and card holder refund requests according to the defined service standards.
- Monitor daily operations of card production including card initialisation, personalisation, recycling, inventory management, Automatic Add-value Service (AAVS), kiosk operation and quality control of various types of Octopus cards
- Review compliance, control procedure manuals and provide appropriate action plans to address issues and strengthen controls on Octopus card processing and refund operations
- Prepare and collate data for routine management information, ad hoc reports and projects
- Review and streamline existing operating process and policies to enhance efficiency, productivity and control
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties including card suppliers, service providers, regulatory bodies and law enforcement teams
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to continuously improve and enhance the process for better efficiency and higher customer satisfaction
- Lead a team to implement projects for new product, operation efficiency and cost control, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality deliverables by performing user acceptance tests and verification tests
- Compile weekly and monthly reports for management review
- Review daily control reports to ensure that all exception cases are handled promptly
- Manage, lead and provide on the job training to team members to upskill the knowledge according to the job needs and succession planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in business management or related disciplines
- At least 8 years’ operation experience with 3 years working at managerial level; preferably experience in embossing and production of credit card or other payment card business
- Good knowledge of HKMA supervisory policies and practices, and AML
- Experience in managing project implementation and knowledge of system development cycle for setting out user requirements and execution of user acceptance tests is preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead the team to achieve KPI; able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
- Good numerical sense, logical and analytical skills
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
