Commercial Banking – Wholesale Client Coverage

Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking (CMB) business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies. 

 

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services.  As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.

We are currently seeking high caliber individual to join our Wholesale Client Coverage as Head of CRE Relationship Mgt (Department Head).

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy an effective acquisition and retention strategy to maximize market share and improve customer experience
  • Manage tactical campaigns to support growth and achievement of the Commercial Banking plan in terms of financial and non-financial outcomes
  • Execute Customer Experience plans to drive improvements
  • Support the senior leadership team by sharing sales best practices, leading and participating in regional initiatives
  • Understand economic trends and its impact, and identify key levers to capitalise on opportunities / minimise exposure
  • Implement change relating to strategic business opportunities to improve business performance
  • Mobilise resources in support of change delivery, and drive the professionalization and accreditation of the team

 

Requirements

  • University graduate in business, finance and credit related disciplines and/or professional banking qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years of working experience in credit and relationship management in banking sector
  • Minimum 12 years of working experience in development of marketing plan and customer relationship management.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales related managerial position.
  • All-rounded in various aspects of commercial banking activities including lending and non-lending products
  • Strong technical know-how in terms of facility structuring, provision of advanced financial solutions as well as offering tailor-made financial instruments
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
