Senior Host / Hostess - Cafe Carlyle

About the role:

We believe that Food & Beverage service is a vocation. Representing the first point of contact with Members, you will work closely with our Cafe Carlyle Manager to develop and nurture the Member relationship by getting to know our Members’ preferences and whims. Your charming and welcoming demeanour, attention to detail and passion for going the extra mile to surprise and delight Members makes you the ideal fit for Carlyle & Co. What you need to have:

• A proven track record in restaurant operations in a similar capacity
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
• Broad knowledge of drink menu items, food & beverage recommendations and the art of considered service
• A proactive, flexible work ethic to meet special requests from Members, wherever possible
• A genuinely caring attitude, outstanding attention to detail and impressive observation skills
• First-class communication and interpersonal skills - we want you to foster genuine relationships with our Members and your team
• A strong command of English and Cantonese

What you will do:

• Create unforgettable dining experiences for our Members in every part of our food & beverage service
• Work alongside the outlet Team to ensure our service meets the Carlyle & Co. level of excellence
• Interact with Members to obtain feedback and build positive relationships – don’t be shy, introduce yourself!
• Support the restaurant team in managing the reservations, arrival and departure of guests to ensure an exceptional all-round experience
• Less experience will be considered as Host / Hostess
