Assistant Superintendent (Social Worker) (Ref: SLLSCH-AS)

Siu Lam Long Stay Care Home (Tuen Mun Siu Lam)

Responsibilities:

1. To assist Superintendent to implement quality assurance policies & practices to meets quality standard;
2. To assist Superintendent in personnel management of the Home;
3. To assist Superintendent to enhance the collaboration among multidisciplinary team of staff;
4. To assist in the administration and financial management of the Home;
5. To assist the Superintendent to develop, coordinate, implement and supervise case management and various care, rehabilitation and recovery services for service users;
6. To assist Superintendent in service review, planning and development;
7. To provide professional supervision and leadership for the respective professional staff; and
8. To oversee the respective service provision to service users so as to optimize their wellness and functioning.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder of Social Work;
2. At least 5 years of clinical experience preferably in residential services for mental health field;
3. Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills;
4. Be able to work effectively with professional staff from different backgrounds; and
5. Experience in residential services essential and knowledge and skills in case management and providing professional supervision desirable.
