Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud transformation strategies
• Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and services that align with business goals and requirements
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Design and implement basic CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems and applications
• Migrate on-premise applications to Kubernetes-based cloud platforms such as AWS EKS
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and applications
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure security, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based systems
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in cloud transformation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates design
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience in k8s and docker
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates design using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Basic knowledge and skills in CI/CD
• Basic knowledge and skills in Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud migration and transformation tools and methodologies
• Experience or familiarity with database management is considered a valuable asset but not a mandatory requirement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
