Responsibilities
Drives beverage revenue by identifying business opportunities and controls the beverage costs in operation.
Manages the flow of inventory, keeps the inventory at a sufficient level. Stores the beverage and wine in a good and hygienic condition.
Assists Catering Service Manager, Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef in and makes recommendation on new menu design, sources diverse and adequate beverage.
Prepares and maintains an up-to-date wine list for the Company.
Provides training for banquet staff on new and existing beverages and the procedures of serving wine.
Tailor makes themed cocktail, beverage according to guests’ requests or preferences.
Conducts regular sales analysis to ensure stock turnover and achieves maximum profitability.
Requirement
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in related field.
Minimum Level 3 in WSET or other recognized sommelier certification.
Understanding of French wine knowledge would be advantageous.
Fluent in spoken English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
Proficiency in French is preferred.
