What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• As a platform owner of various internal systems and vendor software.
• Provide technical support to cloud infrastructure deployment and integration.
• Monitor system performance, and provide system tuning and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with company standard
• Work with the managed services providers and developers to support new project deployment and onboarding of application systems to service platforms.
• Responsible for service platforms capacity planning and ensuring there are sufficient system resources to meet the business needs.
• Defining and setting development, testing, release and monitoring processes for the DevOps pipeline
• Writing system scripts and automated deployment operations.
• Maintain platform security, patching, version upgrade and redundancy strategies.
• Contribute to technical product planning, development, and evaluation.

What is required and what we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good work ethics, self-motivated and excited to learn.
• Fluent Cantonese and English; ability to speak in Putonghua will be an advantage
• Strong ownership of the platforms & services managed by the team.
• Able to learn and support unfamiliar systems with least advise.
• Working experience in administrating Kubernetes cluster and container technologies.
• Excellent understanding of DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD technologies and practices, experience on Git, Helm charts, Gitlab CI, system scripting, Istio preferred.
• Solid cloud experience, AWS and Ali Cloud preferred.
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Terraform) as an advantage.
• Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) as an advantage.
