What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Support Manager to manage and review payment operations and workflow on remittance, local and global payment processing (FPS/RTGS/SWIFT handling) & reconciliation to ensure the payment services are delivered smoothly and efficiently
• Knowledge in performing payment screening on incoming and outgoing fund
• Monitor daily operations to ensure all guidelines, standards and procedures comply with regulatory requirements
• Support and coordinate on different projects and drills both internal and external, such as ISO 20022 and regular drills with HKMA
• Liaise with vendors and other service providers to build and maintain a good relationship. Monitor their performance to sustain their service qualities
• Provide solutions to any issues raised by customers and vendors, initiate remedial plans to enhance customers’ satisfaction
• Provide recommendations on system and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency

What is required and what we’re looking for

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking payment operations such as remittance.
• Knowledge and experience in Card Operations and/or Treasury settlement is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of HKMA regulatory requirements
• Organized, responsible and with a drive for improvement
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin and Cantonese)
