WeLab Bank - Assistant Manager/Senior Officer, Collection

About you:

• You're a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment

What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Responsible for unsecured personal loans
• Responsible for all collections related activities to maintain low loss ratio
• Manage daily operations of the team including supervision and development of collections staff
• Ensure compliance of company policies & procedures and recommend changes to manager when necessary
• Drive loss mitigation actions, recommend accelerated collection actions, initiation of legal process, loan restructures or payment plans
• Prepare reporting, such as daily / monthly loss and delinquency reports, staff productivity reports
• Manage external collections agency, drive collections agency to collect from delinquent / written-off accounts

What is required and what we’re looking for:

• Diploma holder or above in any disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of collections experience in lending industry
• Self-starter who is action-oriented, organized, and possesses a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to drive initiatives, handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Collection
