Biomedical Equipment Technician/ Trainee Biomedical Engineer (Full-time)

With the expansion of Biomedical Engineering Department, we are looking for a candidate to fill in the new position of Biomedical Equipment Technician:

Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

Job Duties:

• Technology review of medical equipment/ system
• Installation and commissioning of medical equipment/ system
• Repair and maintenance of medical equipment
• Monitoring medical equipment safety alerts
• Replacement planning and disposal management of medical equipment
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Requirement:

• Holder of a Higher diploma, or higher in Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
• Preferably with one year experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge in the operation of different testers and calibrators.
• Good communication skill with strong teamwork spirit.
• Demonstrates independent problem solving skills.
• Good computer skills, preferably with database management experience.
• HKIE Scheme A training will be offered for suitable candidate
