Team Leads - Data Centre Operations, Information Technology

Responsibilities:

• Assigns, directs and checks the work of the entire shift of computer operations staff
• Ensures all computer operations functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Assists in developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Interfaces with vendor field engineers to resolve hardware related problems
• Assisting in installation of computer peripherals in Data Centre. Co-ordinate projects involving inter-departmental groups in the Data Centre processing facility
• Managing all aspects of the maintenance and operation of the Data Centre in terms of facilities, administration and hardware including attendance at regular management, process and vendor meetings
• Enforce daily processing to meet the Service Level objectives as defined in the agreement with customer
• Delegating user Ad-hoc job request to operation
• Comply with the quality system consistent with the requirements of the AP Region Management Manual
• Provide timely feedback to management regarding issues affecting the quality of service to the client
• Ensuring the team is comply with the requirement of compliance.
• Review and recommend the acceptance of operations manuals and working instructions
• Develop Data Centre procedure in terms of fulfil the requirement of audit and compliance

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Holder of CDCP, CDCS, ITIL is preferred
• 8 years data centre operations working experiences with at least 3 years in leadership role
• Strong knowledge in enterprise computer in AS400, UNIX / LINUX and Windows environment especially in banking or finance industry
• Good knowledge in data centre design, facility setup and maintenance.
• Self-motivated, proactive and analytical thinking
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skill
• Good command of written and spoken in English, Cantonese
