Head of Investment System, GB Application Systems, I.T.

Responsibilities:

• To assist Head of GB Application Systems to formulate the overall strategy of application systems and architecture in Bank to complement the Bank’s overall strategic goals and mission
• To supervise the application systems related to Investment / Payment / Settlement for executing new system development projects, daily support and operations, and ad-hoc requests
• To assist Head of GB Application Systems to formulate / develop all other essences including policy, workflow, procedures and training for project success
• To manage projects in aspects of deliverable quality and performance, schedule and resources, communications with key stakeholders, and vendor management throughout the project life cycle
• Enforce proper control and regulatory compliance requirements are included in the all system enhancement / projects in accordance with internal and external rules and policies
• Control and monitoring team performance and work practice according to the internal policy and guideline of the Bank
• Recommend business solution through effective analysis and data exploitation for new product and services, and operational process automation
• Liaise with the project stakeholders on issues and concerns regarding project development
• Budgetary and resources planning and control

Requirements:

• Degree holder of Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years work experience in banking & finance of which at least 3 years in managerial level
• Solid experience on “Investment / Payment / Settlement” system implementation and support
• In-depth knowledge on “SWIFT Alliance” and related regulatory requirements are a MUST
• Good understanding and solid experience on system development, support and maintenance life cycle
• Effective interpersonal skills, self-motivated, committed team player and can work independently under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua
