Objective:
The Senior Business Development Associate aims to drive significant sales growth and market expansion in the company's store business through strategic partnerships and effective market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to increase sales volumes and enhance market presence.
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies to attract and retain high-value clients, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
- Perform detailed market analysis to spot emerging trends, sales opportunities, and potential strategic partners.
- Skillfully negotiate and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding the company’s sales targets and profitability objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong, enduring customer relationships, managing key accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure sales strategies are in sync with overall business objectives and that client requirements are met.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings and generate new business leads.
- Provide regular sales reports to senior management, outlining sales performance, pipeline development, and market conditions.
- Mentor and support junior members of the business development team, enhancing their sales competencies and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record with at least 5 years in business development or sales, especially within the retail or store business sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process from planning to closure, with a history of surpassing sales quotas.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience securing significant contracts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, effective across all levels of the organization and with clients.
- High proficiency in CRM software, sales management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
