Sous Chef - Dim Sum

We are looking for a Sous Chef - Dim Sum based at Kerry Hotel Hong Kong!

As a Sous Chef - Dim Sum, we rely on you to:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation in the kitchen
  • To be involved in menu planning and product sourcing along with Executive Chinese Chef / Executive Sous Chef for new menus and special celebrations for promotion
  • Responsible for efficient control, stocking, dispensing and security of all commodities in the kitchen
  • To coordinate and check good production, all set-ups for restaurant and banquet functions
  • Ensure that the service of food is completely to guest satisfaction and to the standard required by the hotel
  • Attend meeting with the Executive Chef to discuss future business strategy and review on-going actioin plan progress
  • Supervise and monitor the work of the kitchen staff

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum 5 - 7 years’ relevant experience in luxury hotels, clubhouses or sizeable catering operations with 4 years in performing supervisory role
  • Solid hygiene knowledge in HACCP
  • Good command of English and Cantonese
  • Good team player and able to work under pressure
