Technical Officer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor a team of outsourced management services provider and maintenance contractors to carry out preventive maintenance & repair, improvement and renovation works for the building fabrics and building services systems of the properties.
• Assist and review the maintenance scheme to ensure the building services equipment / facilities are being managed in sound condition.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational problems of MVAC and building facilities system.
• Enforce necessary strategies in order to comply with Government regulations / statutory requirements and attend meetings with relevant Government Department if necessary.
• Assist in project planning and building enhancement work including liaison and coordinating with consultants, handle defect rectification works.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating technical procedures and tender documents / specifications on technical work.
• Assist in planning and reviewing maintenance budget for the properties.
• Assist in planning and implementing corrective & preventive maintenance work schedule to minimize system breakdown.
• Co-ordinate and monitor all matter relating to technical services, review and establish various maintenance plans.
• Regular routine inspections on structure and facilities
• Attend emergency breakdowns and incidents if necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Higher Diploma in Building Services Engineering / Building Studies / Building Surveying disciplines or equivalent.
• Good technical understanding of MVAC and building facilities operational system.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in building services / property maintenance, preferably gained in sizable commercial properties.
• Experience in handling renovation projects is an advantage.
• Have knowledge in related statutory laws / regulations.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Independent and self-motivated.
