Compliance Strategy & Data Science Manager - Compliance Strategy & Governance Section

Responsibilities

• Assist Section Head and Compliance Division (COMD) to implement compliance transformation projects, data and analytics strategy.
• Collaborate with all compliance departments to identify opportunities and support management decision with data insights.
• Facilitate COMD to attain data-driven compliance insights through the use of customer data, including structured and unstructured data, internal and external data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution.
• Advise and support users to build artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) models so as to attain data-driven compliance.
• Advise and assist users to undertake in-depth analysis with advanced customer analytics and big data technology by using internal and external data.

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Decision Science, Data Science or in relevant disciplines
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Data Science / Business Analytics from recognized establishments in financial services and/or Fintech related industries
• Strong knowledge on data management and analyst
• Strong knowledge on data preparation (e.g. SQL) and data product development
• Experience in database such as Teradata or similar technology
• Experience in cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS, etc) is an advantage
• Experience in managing large scale projects is an advantage
• Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
