Product Manager (Investment)

Job Description:

• Develop and implement investment strategies and portfolios aligned with the bank’s overall objectives and market outlook.
• Recommend and design bespoke financial products tailored to the needs of private banking clients.
• Perform thorough product due diligence and conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing product suitability and compliance.
• Oversee the full lifecycle management of financial products, from product launch through ongoing monitoring and management.
• Prepare and deliver product training sessions for front office, ensuring the team is well-equipped with product knowledge and understands associated risks and benefits.
• Support the team by coordinating and executing quotation and collaborating closely with counterparties and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing and updating related Policies & Procedures and to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Provide flexible support to the broader P&I team during the transition period by participating in strategic projects, system improvements, and other cross-functional initiatives as required.
• Collaborate effectively with compliance, risk control, operations, and IT teams to support seamless product development and implementation.
• Actively participate in cross-regional integration and collaboration projects involving the Hong Kong and Singapore Private Banking Centres, supporting the team's strategic goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in private banking product management or related financial product roles preferred.
• Strong familiarity with private banking products and financial markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with VBA editing skills preferred.
• Experienced in using Bloomberg and Refinitiv platforms.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools for data analysis, market research, and process optimization.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and capable of independently managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Team-oriented with a flexible and cooperative attitude toward supporting cross-team initiatives.
