Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Assist the Insurance Team to deliver high-quality business solutions that align with the Bank's wealth management objectives.
Strategic Distribution: Identify, develop, and implement robust distribution strategies for insurance products to achieve the Bank’s business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with external insurance providers and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of product initiatives and proposition strategies.
Product Governance: Drive the evaluation process for new providers and products; oversee ongoing due diligence to maintain a high-quality product suite.
Regulatory Compliance: Act as a guardian of integrity by ensuring all product processes and frameworks strictly comply with the Insurance Authority (IA) and other regulatory requirements.
Market Intelligence: Lead market research and internal analysis to monitor competitor trends, ensuring our platform remains highly competitive and relevant.
Executive Support: Handle ad-hoc strategic duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional Qualification: Must hold a valid Insurance RO qualification as specified and published by the Insurance Authority (IA).
Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in insurance product and sales management, with at least 3 years in a proven management role.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of financial markets and a comprehensive understanding of diverse insurance products.
Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed in the latest Insurance Authority (IA) regulations and industry best practices.
Core Competencies: Independent, result-oriented, and customer-focused with a proactive, outgoing personality.
Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred).
Availability: Immediate availability is a significant advantage.
