AML Manager

Responsibilities:

• Perform AML system optimization and threshold management, including system upgrade project, TMS threshold review and tuning, system UAT/SIT, and preparation of related test plan and cases;

• Perform risk model design and review, including developing and testing AML risk assessments, reviewing methodologies for customer risk rating/assessment;

• Coordinate with external consultant and vendor on system-related project and other consultancy project;

• Review alerts to identify suspicious transactions/activities and conduct investigation triggered by system alerts;

• Prepare SAR/STR filing document for related suspicious transactions;

• Provide AML/CFT advisory support to business lines to resolve transaction monitoring and KYC/CDD matters;

• Participate in formulating AML policies and procedures, and make related recommendations to business units and management team in Hong Kong and Head Office;

• Maintain and update the AML Policy and Compliance Manual to ensure that these are in line with the statutory requirements as well as the local and Head Office controls requirements;

• Ensure AML/CFT related data and information are properly distributed and duly communicated to internal relevant business and management teams and external regulatory bodies through appropriate management reporting;

• Participate in other ad-hoc tasks and projects.

 Requirements:

• University graduate in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or related disciplines;

• Minimum 8 years’ AML/CFT compliance experience in banking sector;

• Familiar with common AML system;

• Solid knowledge of banking operations, products and services;

• Self-motivated, independent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Good command of both spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Mandarin is preferred);

• With ECF-AML/CFT certification (CAMLP/AAMLP) or CAMS designation a definite advantage;

• Immediately available a definite advantage;

• Candidate with more experience may be considered for senior position.
